STUDIO & LOBBY RULES: Be courteous and respectful in the studio. Respect our learning environment. Please keep voices low in the lobby and hallways—ADFS is an educational facility. Parents, guests, and siblings should not disrupt the learning environment. We kindly ask that all observations take place quietly and discreetly from behind the shaded windows only. Our instructors work hard to build trust and respect in the classroom. When a child sees or hears their parent, their attention naturally shifts—this interrupts their focus and can hinder progress. Do not enter classrooms or open closed doors. Label all your belongings and keep them contained in a lobby cubby. ADFS is not responsible for lost or stolen property from lobby cubbies. Do not bring or store valuables in your dance cubby. Pick up all trash and return borrowed items to their proper location. Eating at the studio is ONLY permitted in the lobby or storefront tables. Dancers must be seated and dispose of trash. ADFS is NOT responsible for dancers that leave the building to visit other businesses within the complex outside of their scheduled class times (Fuego/Yogurtland/etc.). Dancers are asked to consume and dispose of food purchases at the restaurant or outside before returning into the studio to help keep our studio clean. Cell phones must be stored on silent in your dancer’s cubby. Cell phone use is prohibited during dance class. Headphones must be used when using sound devices in the lobby and hallways. ADFS will not tolerate inappropriate cell phone behavior within the studio. The ADFS Staff reserves the right to hold cell phones until parent arrival should it be deemed necessary (see 3 Strikes Policy). Arrive 5 minutes before class start time with proper hair, clothing, and shoes per dress code policy. Cover-ups must be worn over dance clothes when entering and exiting the building. Do NOT wear dance shoes outside; outside elements ruin shoes and dance floors. If you are still reading this, email office@adfslv.com with subject “Decade of Dance” for a prize. Use the restroom BEFORE class. Level I+ dancers may bring a labeled water bottle (water only) in-studio for class. Combo dancers are asked to keep water bottles in their lobby cubby as these classes are shorter duration and water bottles are a distraction to their focus. Dancers are dismissed by their teacher; do not enter the classroom. Dancers are NOT allowed to cross the parking lot or wait outside the studio unattended. Please escort your dancer to and from the main door. Follow all current health mandates as required by county and state officials. ADult DANCE & Fitness classes: ADFS is not just for kids. Join in the fun with our Adult Dance & Fitness program. Achieve your personal dance and fitness goals with the professionals at ADFS in a healthy and supportive environment. Our group classes are tailored to meet the needs of our clients with small class sizes. Our dance and fitness experts will offer modifications for the individual, as needed. View our online Adult Fitness Schedule and current dance schedule to see class options and schedule a trial class. Adults have the option to enroll for a class or drop-in using a punch card. You may view Punch Card options from the “Punch” menu in Studio Pro. Please bring a water bottle and towel to class. Adult dance participants are always invited to perform in our studio’s on-stage performances. Adult Dance Dress Code: We encourage adult participants to dress to their comfort level with the footwear for the style of dance; pink or black canvas ballet shoes, black jazz shoes, black hip hop high tops or black and white sneakers of choice, and black lace-up tap shoes. All shoes are available at ADFS for purchase. Dance clothes are welcome, but most Adult participants wear athletic wear for dance classes.
