How many classes does my dancer need to take? Dancer success is a top priority at ADFS and supporting each dancer’s journey is our goal. Please see our progressions page included to design the best plan for your dancer. Why are Level I–IV dancers now required to take a minimum of two classes per week? At ADFS, we are committed to fostering a strong foundation of technique, confidence, and community in every dancer. Starting this season, all dancers in Levels I–IV will be required to take a minimum of two classes per week. This new standard is designed with your dancer’s best interests at heart and supports our mission of providing high-quality training and a supportive studio environment. By attending at least two classes per week, your dancer will benefit from: Improved technique and muscle memory through consistent, reinforced training. Stronger performance skills with more time to apply corrections and explore artistry. Increased confidence as they grow more secure in their abilities. Deeper friendships and a stronger sense of belonging with their peers. Broader exposure to faculty and styles, building versatility and adaptability. Greater readiness for performances, auditions, and future advancement. We believe this policy will greatly enrich your dancer’s experience and growth. If you have questions about which classes best complement your dancer’s schedule, our Front Desk team is happy to help. Does my dancer need to take ballet for AcroDance? Ballet is a prerequisite for any of our Acro classes. AcroDance is a high intensity sport with excess demands on your growing dancer’s bones, joints, and muscles. Proper placement and technique is imperative to prevent injury and promote success and to guarantee your dancer’s safety, we require they be registered in Ballet simultaneously with any AcroDance class. What happens if I want to drop or change a class for my dancer? If you need to drop or change a class, please complete the ADFS Cancellation Notice. This form serves as your 30-day written notice of cancellation. Our staff will contact you to discuss other options for your dancer. Your feedback helps us improve our programs.
